1. Who we are

SkyAudio is the data controller for the personal data processed through this diffuser designer service. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

2. Data we collect and why

  • Account data — email address and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: contract performance).
  • Purchase and subscription records — designs purchased, transactions and subscription status, used to deliver your downloads and manage access (contract performance, legal obligation for billing records).
  • Design data — panel and wall configurations you create, used to render previews, generate files, and archive your purchased downloads (contract performance).
  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device identifiers, and service telemetry, used for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement (legitimate interests).
  • Support messages — if you contact us, to respond to your request (legitimate interests).

3. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed with: service providers and subprocessors (hosting and database infrastructure, analytics, and support tooling); Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing; professional advisers (legal, accounting); and authorities where required by law.

4. International transfers

Some processing takes place outside the UK/EEA. Where it does, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account and design data is kept while your account is active; billing records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your personal data.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We respond to requests within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us through your account page.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage required for sign-in and saving your designs. We do not use marketing cookies. You can clear site data in your browser settings; doing so signs you out and removes locally saved designs.
